Answer: CONPEX solutions can be used with any SAP ArchiveLink certified content servers or external storage systems to store documents or data.

Archiving Concept Related Questions

Question: Current archiving has its limitations. Does your archiving concept provide us with the insight we currently lack?
Answer: The concept document provides reliable information that will help you better understand what your archiving options are. The concept is focused mainly on SAP data archiving, print lists and outgoing documents archiving. The archiving concept utilizes our long-term archiving practice, knowledge of application modules and relations between archiving objects.

Question: Does it give me the full picture or does it only work for a number of specific SAP areas (SD, WM, ...)?
Answer: The CONPEX tool takes a detailed look at the following SAP modules: FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PR, PM, PS, HR, and some SAP industry solutions – retail, utilities, telecommunications and insurance. It analyzes the most commonly used archiving objects (approx. 70 objects) and all suitable outgoing documents. We are constantly improving our tool to get reliable information describing your SAP data growth.

Question: How does it work? You run a report remotely on our systems?
Answer: You will get an email with the SAP transport request that must be transported to your test (QA) system. You will start an ABAP program in the background. Finally, you will send us the results (table content) which we will use in our archiving concept. All can be done remotely via email. You will learn more information in the attached readme file.
